Many people believe the most relaxing sound you can listen to is the sound of moving water. That very reason is why many people have been installing water features in their landscapes.
LDW can design and install many different types of water features, including:
Ponds: Ponds can be as small as 5’x5’, or as large as you can imagine. We can design plant pockets, fish hideouts, and stone work to make the pond as natural as possible. We always include some type of filtration in our ponds to reduce the amount of algae growth, and to keep the water as clear as possible.
- Waterfalls: Waterfalls are often built in conjunction with ponds, in order to give oxygenation to the pond. We can design a small stone waterfall that gives you a little water sound, or a large, rushing falls that can be a main focal point.
- Pondless waterfalls: For those people who want the “falls look and sound” but without the actual pond…we do a waterfall, flowing into an underground vault. This can give you all the sight and sounds of a waterfall, but without the added space and maintenance requirements of a pond.
- Streams: Sometimes people want 2 small ponds connected by a stream, and LDW can accommodate streams of any size….even small stone bridges!
